was seen leaning on a walker as he enjoyed a rare outing with wife of 14 years Arlene Silver in on Tuesday. 

The 100-year-old Hollywood legend, who , enjoyed the lowkey daytime excursion as the pair also stopped by a Starbucks drive-thru to pick up tasty drinks. 

Van Dyke kept it casual wearing a pair of dark blue sweatpants as well as a short-sleeved white shirt.

The Mary Poppins star was spotted strolling next to his wife as they made their way down a sidewalk. 

He was also seen stepping out of the passenger side of a vehicle, which included a special item hanging directly above the dashboard. 

An air freshener with a photo of the winner was placed around the rearview mirror in a lighthearted nod to the actor.

The makeup artist also dressed down in a printed black sweatshirt as well as a green tank top underneath and comfy black pants. 

She slipped into a pair of black sneakers and easily carried a brown leather purse over her shoulder.

In February 2012, Van Dyke and Silver tied the knot after first crossing paths six years earlier. The actor had been age 86 at the time, with Silver being 46 years his junior

The star was previously married to Margie Willett from 1948 until their divorce in 1984. The former couple welcomed four children together

Late last year in December, Van Dyke rang in his 100th birthday and his wife described it as the 'perfect' day

'She gives me energy. She gives me humor, and all kinds of support,' he said of his wife while talking to ABC News last year.

He also discussed how he still feels young at 100. 

'The funniest thing is, it's not enough. A hundred years is not enough. You want to live more, which I plan to.' 

Van Dyke explained that both he and his wife remain active, which he attributed to his health. 

'We go to the gym three days a week, [my wife's] a health nut, and we work out,' the actor said. 'That's good advice for anybody.'

The award-winning star added that he doesn't suffer from 'any ache or pain,' before calling himself 'lucky.' 

And during an interview with The Mirror, Van Dyke explained that he gave up drinking years earlier in 1972 after alcohol had 'ruined' his life.

He recalled doing a stint in rehab for 'two weeks' while sharing that it was 'nothing like today.' Afterwards, he 'did the whole AA 12-step thing.'

She put together a flash mob for her husband to perform a medley of his songs which was followed by a party at their Malibu home with close family and pals

The actor also gave up smoking and admitted to The Mirror that he is 'very lucky I still have my lungs.'

Van Dyke further expressed, 'But I never did any drugs. My generation, we smoked and drank.' 

The star also tries to maintain a healthy diet and takes vitamins daily. 

'I try to eat right and I always start the day with a healthy breakfast of bran and blueberries - a great anti-oxidant. I'm in pretty good health considering how I've abused myself.' 

Van Dyke then expressed, 'I never expected to live this long, or feel this good.'

He also talked about why he has not fully retired upon celebrating his 100th birthday.

'Retirement's the one thing I have never figured out how to do. I actually did officially retire at 75, but I've been busy ever since.' 

The star began his entertainment career in radio in the late 1940s, before making appearances on television such as The Phil Silvers Show (1957-1958).

His Broadway debut took place in 1959 as he starred in the production The Girls Against the Boys. 

Van Dyke gained further recognition by taking on roles in films including Bye Bye Birdie (1963), Mary Poppins (1964), The Art Of Love (1965) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968). 

And back on TV, he also starred in shows such as The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966) and Diagnosis Murder (1993-2001). 

The actor has garnered a number of accolades during his successful career including six Emmys, one Tony Award and one Grammy Award. In 1993, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
