The punk rockers were due to go on stage in when they announced that they had pulled the plug on the show, along with the rest of the tour, due to frontman Matt Skiba's health issues.
'We are immensely sorry but we must cancel our dates in England, including tonight's show in Birmingham, due to medical issues Matt has been suffering from that have worsened,' they said in a statement.
'He's gonna be okay but needs to be treated stateside as soon as possible. We will be back healthier and stronger!'
The band also clarified that fans could obtain refunds for their tickets.
Skiba, 50, later shared some of his symptoms in an emotional video to fans while waiting for his flight back to America from Airport.

The punk rockers issued a statement on social media explaining that Skiba needed immediate treatment in the United States
'I've got numbness in my feet, numbness in my hands. As you can tell I'm losing my voice, so I can't really talk, walk, play, or sing,' he said.
'But I'm okay. I'm just a little tuned up, but I'm gonna go home and get looked at and we'll be back as soon as we can.'
He finished, 'Thanks so much for being so understanding and I'll see you soon.'
Skiba's health issues come less than one week after he suffered a motorcycle crash right before kicking off the band's European tour.

In a post shared to Instagram on June 27, Skiba said that he was 'jacked up' but had been elevating his legs and trying to stay hydrated in a bid to get back on his feet again.
'Had a lil motorbike crash before leaving Los Angeles for Europe. I'm gonna do my best. It's gonna be a punk rock 'n roll party up there no matter what,' he wrote.
Outside of Alkaline Trio, Skiba has also worked as a guitarist and vocalist for Blink-182.
Skiba filled in for Tom DeLonge from 2015 to 2022, releasing two albums with the band before DeLonge returned.
'I've got numbness in my feet, numbness in my hands. As you can tell I'm losing my voice, so I can't really talk, walk, play, or sing,' Skiba said in a statement

However, he's still best known for his work with Alkaline Trio and is not only the current frontman of the band, but also a founding member.
Alkaline Trio were founded in late 1996, but it wasn't until 2001 with the release of their third album From Here to Infirmary that they found commercial success.
They continued to grow in popularity throughout the early 2000s, with their biggest success coming in 2003 with the release of their album Good Mourning, which reached No. 20 on the Billboard 200.
Their biggest hits include We've Had Enough, Time to Waste, and Help Me.
The band released their tenth studio album Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs in 2024 to widespread critical acclaim.
