Madonna reveals the singer she believes her ex had a crush on as she admits to being 'jealous'

revealed the one singer she saw as competition because she believed her then-partner, now an ex, had a crush on her.

The Queen of Pop - who married director in 2000 - made the admission when she sat directly beside the fellow star during an interview with  at Koko, an iconic concert venue in London.

The Like A Virgin singer, 67, was sitting down with the British comedian earlier this week to discuss her upcoming album, Confessions II, when the topic came up. 

Her 15th studio album will drop on July 3, and Madonna has been .

For their chat, Madonna talked about once dressing up in a T-shirt with her subject of envy across the front.

At the 2000 MTV , she was repping  as she had sported a top with the pop star's name emblazoned across the front in rhinestones, which Madonna explained she had gotten customized by herself. 

'I was in my Western mode, rhinestoning everything, and I was trying to think of singers that I'm slightly in love with,' Madonna recalled during the segment for the television personality's panel program, The Graham Norton Show.

'And so naturally, I thought of Kylie and had a T-shirt made of her,' she explained.
