Angelina Jolie Seen in LA Amid Family Drama

The 51-year-old actress appeared to be on a mission on Saturday as she stepped out in the sweltering city, where temperatures hovered around 77 degrees F.

Jolie practically absorbed the heat in an all-black outfit comprised of a loosely fitting top and skinny jeans.

Wearing opaque shades and her mahogany-hued hair styled in a casual updo, she strutted to her car while shouldering a large black tote bag.

The outing follows news that her son Pax, 22, who was in Los Angeles the same day, still retains ties to the paternal side of his family and hasn't filed to remove Pitt from his name, despite his estrangement from father , according to Page Six.

'Pax still has a relationship with his dad's side of the family and continues to spend time with them,' a source told the outlet. 'He recently joined his family as they went out to dinner and celebrated his cousin ’s engagement to Archimede Jerome.'

The gathering was also attended by Pitt's sister Julie Pitt Neal and his niece Reagan Pitt along with other family members.

Back in March, Sydney announced her engagement on Instagram, writing: 'I said yes (duh).'

Pax, however, 'doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad,' a second source noted.
