Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's elaborate wedding prep hit a snafu on Tuesday.

Workers on the VIP entrance at Madison Square Garden in , where the wedding extravaganza is reportedly set to take place this week.

But within moments of finishing the job, a grisly aide appeared and instructed them to rip it all back up.

The unidentified woman appeared on the steps looking frustrated and clutching a bottle of water, hastily telling the workmen to undo all of their efforts. 

The aide, armed with a walkie-talkie, failed to raise a smile as the crews worked feverishly at her direction.    

It's unclear what exactly the problem was. Perhaps the carpet had been placed in the wrong section. Or it was simply too visible to the prying eyes on the streets.

Fans would be forgiven for thinking the iconic NYC venue was hosting a glitzy awards ceremony, with new photos showing the red carpet previously being laid near the garden's VIP entrance for the ceremony's plethora of A-list guests; taken on Tuesday, June 30 

And earlier this week on Monday, photos shot for the Daily Mail which has a capacity of around 19,500.

Metal security barriers were placed outside of the loading area while 'No Parking' signs were also spotted to specify that the area was off-limits from June 20 through July 4.

Some trucks appeared to be loaded with crates and what appeared to be racks of electronics, possibly for a musical performance.

Several equipment crates were plastered with flyers decorated with a skull and crossbones that indicated they were the 'Property of Jet Sets.'

The flyers had the phone number of a Los Angeles–based company of the same name that creates lavish sets and scenery for high-profile live events.

The Daily Mail reached out to Swift's representative and Jet Sets at the time for comment but has not yet received a response.

In addition to signs for the scenery company, there also appeared to be equipment from a transportation company, a lighting service, and a company that specializes in piping and draping, according to Page Six.

Boxes of sound equipment were piled up outside the venue and vendors queued up outside MSG to deliver goods to MSG.

A source told NBC News that 1,100 guests have RSVP'd and are expected to attend Swift's July 3 wedding.

It has been reported that wedding guests will not know the address until the morning of the event.
