Anne Hathaways Third Pregnancy: Fans Not Surprised!

dropped several clues during the last month that she was pregnant with her third child.

The 43-year-old actress - who announced her pregnancy on social media on Friday - has been sporting a baby bump under baggy clothes for months.

The last time she was seen out in public was on June 1 in where she used a black purse to cover her midsection as she modeled on an oversized blue outfit.

Then on May 21 when at a Louis Vuitton event in NYC, the Oscar winner wore a loose gunmetal gray dress that tried to hide her tummy.

'I knew she was having another baby! That glow, that smile, that bump!' wrote one fan on X. Another said on , 'Least shocking news of 2026: Anne is preggie.'

The actress revealed the sweet news in an Instagram video on Friday, .

Mother-of-two Anne walked into shot wearing a white linen co-ord covering her stomach, before taking her arms away to reveal her bump.

She included the Barbara Lewis song Baby, I'm Yours in the post and also made this the caption of her announcement.

Anne has previously opened up about her 'complicated' journey to motherhood and her desire to welcome a third child into their family.

She made the claims speaking to WSJ Magazine in March 2022, saying: 'I could see us going for another one. There's this tendency to portray getting pregnant, having kids, in one light, as if it's all positive. But I know from my own experience, it's so much more complicated than that.

Anne also spoke about how motherhood changed her for the better and altered her experience of living, telling the publication: 'I didn't feel fully landed and fully here until I was a mom.

'It's not like I was lacking integrity, but it made me want to be completely, on every level, true to my word. And that meant stopping any nonsense that I had going on inside myself. And it's little breaks that you give yourself sometimes when you know that you're not being your best self.'

Anne has previously kept her family life out of the spotlight and previously revealed the reason behind her decision.

In a November 2023 interview with PORTER, she said: 'It's something I feel is not just essential for my health – I'm on a team, it's my family, and it's not just about me.'

'My family has needs, and one of the needs of children is that they need to be able to define their own lives. It doesn't even occur to me to link the two up, except through gratitude that they serve each other so beautifully. But they serve each other through me, and not through a space that's outside of myself.'

She told Harper's Bazaar magazine: 'You can't have a good time at a party if the hostess is stressed or she's letting her stress show.

'I just decided that it wasn't fair for me to move through my life as a stressed person. I don't want my kids to be around it, I don't want my friends to be around it, I don't want strangers to be around it, I don't want people I work with to be around it.

'So I've done a lot of work to figure out how to metabolize differently, so that way I don't feel overwhelmed by all that's coming at me and that I'm participating in, but I actually feel really excited by it.'
